Centre for Women Empowerment in Technology

Centre for Women Empowerment in Technology(CWE-TECH) was founded in 2017 by two PhD researchers passionate about women’s empowerment. CWE-TECH works to bridge the gender gap in technology by promoting and strengthening the capacity of women and girls through mentorship and expanded access to and use of ICT in education, socio-economic empowerment, leadership, and network building across rural Kenya.

Partner With CWE-TECH as a Volunteer

CWE-TECH partners with volunteers from time to time on various projects and events. For our first coding class, volunteers helped train the first cohort. We always welcome volunteers, and if you would like to volunteer for any of our projects, please reach out to us.
