The Challenge
Women in informal settlements faced significant barriers to economic independence due to limited access to skills training and market opportunities. Traditional gender roles and lack of childcare support further complicated their ability to participate in training programs.
Our Approach
CWE-TECH launched a comprehensive women empowerment program combining vocational skills training with entrepreneurship development. The program included childcare support, flexible scheduling, and mentorship from successful women entrepreneurs.
